Infuse Pro 4 App Reviews

Simply the best media player for Mac

I have a MacBook Pro, a 4th gen Apple TV, and a 4th gen iPad mini and with Infuse I can stream all the media that I store on my 3rd gen time capsule to my plethora of Apple devices. Great audio and video coding and it works flawlessly between Windows and Mac servers. The TVOS app is well made and infuse looks great on big and small screen. I love how you can find and download different audio and subtitle tracks and easily edit metadata. Infuse also plays every media format Ive yet encountered, which takes it a step up from VLC. Great job infuse team!

Almost there.

This by far the best video player for Apple TV. It allows access to networked servers, giving you total freedom to watch videos in many formats. However, while it does have a clean look, the one upgrade it needs is a theater mode to give users the theater experience. A couple of trailers, the fun trivia game before the trailers, and the feature presentation. Integrate this into the next build please!

Cool

It lacks only one thing! a timer please!

Great app

Works perfectly

Great app

Works perfectly and read anything you can throw at it. A must have

So far so good

Great player, excellent UI and more importantly no more time wasted killing that damn AAC codec on every files.

Great app, but fails sometimes

I have an iPhone 6 and an AirPort Time Capsule Last Gen, both Wireless AC and some videos freeze during AirPlay to an Apple TV 3rd gen. and it is impossible to watch it. Also, the audio of some of my video files are not supported by the app Infuse. Hope to see an update for these problems.

No DTS or DD

Cannot play DTS or Dolby Digital, all I hear is static noise, only bought this app for DTS and DD, a waste of money...

Bom aplicativo

Much better in this versions not freezing any more. I did not tested it on airplay yet but in iPhone its playing very well

Infuse

I like it very much. I am very satisfied with it.

iOS Picture in Picture

What I miss: - iOS 9 Picture in Picture - Brightness / Contrast settings - Option for using double tap to pause a video (see below) Old Review: Please add this function. Otherwise great app. Also consider adding options for brightness (not display backlight) and contrast settings. Double tap should pause the video, not change the screen filling format. I miss this often, when holding the iPad in one hand. Pausing the video is more often needed than changing the aspect ratio. Thus double tap should be used for pausing/unpausing a video.

Disappointed

Ive used FireCore products from the beginning with the old first generation Apple TV. This app just doesnt do it. Continually buffers, resets, crashes. There are other apps out there that work seamlessly with Apple TV 2 and 3 and are free. Sorry FireCore, infuse is a great idea that just misses the mark.

Really great

Plays all my files. Beautiful interface. No problems. AirPlay works flawlessly. Nicely done!!! :)

Top notch!

Playback is great and keeps position of media very well.

This is a must have video app

Infuse blew the other comparable apps right out of the water. If you want a media player that is 100% complete in almost every way, this is it. And gorgeous job on the layout, amazing.

Excellent App

Will play any video file! Have all my media stored on a time capsule and I easily stream them on my iPad via this app. I also have 1080p media that I stream and AirPlay it on my TV via ATV3 and the quality is just unbelievable. Great job guys! Gone are the days of dealing with sloppy hacks - 2 thumbs up!!!

Very slow to load network folders

As advertised, Infuse has great codec compatibility and plays all my media files no problem. I bought it primarily to access media on my network though, and compared to FileBrowser I find it very slow to load network folders. Not a deal killer, but very annoying.

The Best

It does what it says....This app really works!

Best iOS video player!

This is the best video player for iOS I have tried. And Ive tried many. Its handled every file format Ive thrown at it and it has great subtitle support. There are several easy ways to import video into the app, or if you prefer, just stream from your local network. It will even stream or download from a plex media server if you have the DLNA server enabled in Plex. Well worth the momey I paid!

The best app for watching your own files

I have purchased number of movie players for iPhone and iPad. This by far the best movie player. I use AirPlay to my TV a lot. Steaming quality is smooth and fast compare to other apps I tried.
