Pros and cons of Infuse Pro 4 app for iPhone and iPad

Infuse Pro 4 app good for

Do you think its possible to support wake on lan. I dont see anyway to enter the Mac address of the devices wed like to connect to. Otherwise great!
Should have Split Over, Split View and Picture in Picture Mode. Its an amazing app, thats incredible that doesnt have it yet.
Infuse changed the way I watch movies and tv shows. Easy to use and very user friendly. Plays any file and its great when your on the go.
I was initially looking for an app to play my media on my  Apple TV and came across Infuse. Thought I would try it out on iOS first and... WOW!!! So amazing. Upgraded to Pro within a day and I cannot say enough good things about this app. Its interface is gorgeous, metadata is accurate and its playback is completely flawless. Buy it if you havent already.
Amazing app. Latest version is a huge performance boost in h.265/HEVC playback. I can stream 720p from my UPnP media server on my iPhone 5s. Worth every penny!!
This app will play whatever file you throw at it. Plays off of a media server and allows you to load files onto your iPad to watch on the go. The user interface and meta data are best in class. This is the media app Ive been wishing for. I cant think of a single flaw!

Some bad moments

I used to give this app 5 stars, but after the latest update, it keeps asking me for a PIN for some devices. It is impossible to remove the prompt. Please fix this problem. -—----- My old review: I use this app to play video files I have stored on my NAS. It is an excellent player, and even plays videos with AC3-encoding with no problems. Combined this with an AppleTV and I can stream my videos to my flatscreen TV, giving myself a home entertainment solution.
I only just started to use the app, so understand that before reading my review. I love the idea behind this app. Streaming and downloading videos I own for a total cost I find reasonable by comparison to some other services I have tried is a great idea. Its just too bad that when I tried to use it I experienced several problems, some major and some minor: 1: The interface should be improved. While not much of an issue, it is annoying to have to go back several menus, getting me out of my server folders, just to get to the settings menu. 2: I had issues with Airplay. Not only was the audio only in stereo, but it kept buffering and causing playback glitches when I switched to my stereo speakers. Restarting the app didnt fix this. Also, something I found to be a more frustrating part of the interface was its lack of responsiveness to my touch when trying to pauseresume video when using Airplay. 3: Connecting to my UPnP server on wifi was difficult. Although it connected to my server right away, the app frequently acted as if it was loading a very large list of files or folders, as long load times showed what appeared to be a bad connection between my iPad and my server. Restarting the app did fix this, however. Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to do pretty well. I want to love it, but for $10, I expect there to be no noticeable bugs andor issues in the app. I have only begun to use the app today, so for now, Ill give it the benefit of the doubt and score it with two stars.
Cannot play DTS or Dolby Digital, all I hear is static noise, only bought this app for DTS and DD, a waste of money...
What I miss: - iOS 9 Picture in Picture - Brightness / Contrast settings - Option for using double tap to pause a video (see below) Old Review: Please add this function. Otherwise great app. Also consider adding options for brightness (not display backlight) and contrast settings. Double tap should pause the video, not change the screen filling format. I miss this often, when holding the iPad in one hand. Pausing the video is more often needed than changing the aspect ratio. Thus double tap should be used for pausing/unpausing a video.
Ive used FireCore products from the beginning with the old first generation Apple TV. This app just doesnt do it. Continually buffers, resets, crashes. There are other apps out there that work seamlessly with Apple TV 2 and 3 and are free. Sorry FireCore, infuse is a great idea that just misses the mark.
Ever since the update to iOS 9.2, it force closes on iPhone 6s Plus using chromecast. Also on iPad it stops working with chromecast if decide locks. Please fix for iOS 9.2 and will change to 5 star.
