I live the way this app uses metadata on my movies. It makes them look great and organized. I also love how it can play any file format I throw at it. This app is amazing.

I used to give this app 5 stars, but after the latest update, it keeps asking me for a PIN for some devices. It is impossible to remove the prompt. Please fix this problem. -—----- My old review: I use this app to play video files I have stored on my NAS. It is an excellent player, and even plays videos with AC3-encoding with no problems. Combined this with an AppleTV and I can stream my videos to my flatscreen TV, giving myself a home entertainment solution.

I rave about this app all the time. Easiest way to set up a NAS device for streaming. Love it!

I come from the fully customizable world of XBMC/Kodi and this app is seriously solid. Stable as a rock, lots of great functionality, and a support team that wont sit back and rake in the dough. I seriously LOVE what theyve done.

Im really happy to say that Infuse Pro is an app we use daily across multiple devices. Its just a solid working app. Id love some help setting up my Scrobbler to sync across multiple Apple TVs though. But thats a Scrobbler thing. And even with Scrobbler not at 100%, it does not take away from my 5 star review. I love the Infuse Pro app.

It plays everything well and supports DTS! Support for multiple streaming/networking protocols makes this app easy to configure. Data transfer options are the icing on the cake.

If you dont need on-the-fly transcoding this is the best player out there.

This app is the only reason I bought Apple TV 4. Beautiful artwork on TV And Movie covers. Description of shows. Well organized. Could go on for hours at how nice an app this is. I stream from my WD NAS drive with zero problems.

Please space out the video buttons whenever I try to pause/play i accidentally press the next button which skips the movie to the next movie and its a pain.

Absolutely fantastic on appletv. On iOS frequent video freezes needing a relaunch.

I only just started to use the app, so understand that before reading my review. I love the idea behind this app. Streaming and downloading videos I own for a total cost I find reasonable by comparison to some other services I have tried is a great idea. Its just too bad that when I tried to use it I experienced several problems, some major and some minor: 1: The interface should be improved. While not much of an issue, it is annoying to have to go back several menus, getting me out of my server folders, just to get to the settings menu. 2: I had issues with Airplay. Not only was the audio only in stereo, but it kept buffering and causing playback glitches when I switched to my stereo speakers. Restarting the app didnt fix this. Also, something I found to be a more frustrating part of the interface was its lack of responsiveness to my touch when trying to pauseresume video when using Airplay. 3: Connecting to my UPnP server on wifi was difficult. Although it connected to my server right away, the app frequently acted as if it was loading a very large list of files or folders, as long load times showed what appeared to be a bad connection between my iPad and my server. Restarting the app did fix this, however. Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to do pretty well. I want to love it, but for $10, I expect there to be no noticeable bugs andor issues in the app. I have only begun to use the app today, so for now, Ill give it the benefit of the doubt and score it with two stars.

I want to save movies from computer to Apple TV 4. The feature doesnt available for Apple TV !!!

The app needs to improve the connection, sending data, volume and support for Google cast

In my opinion, Infuse Pro is the undisputed champion of "media player" apps -- for iOS and the ATV4. The App is also *well worth* the reasonable one-time price. No other app in this category has come close to matching Infuse Pros extensive file compatibility, unwavering playback performance, and visually elegant "10-Foot UI." Simply put, the Infuse Pro app for ATV4, and a spare USB hard drive (connected to my AirPort Extreme), transformed my ATV and HDTV into a "Home Media Server" + "Home Theater" powerhouse. With a new version of tvOS due for release soon, I cant wait to see what the developers of Infuse Pro have in store.

A really nice looking app. The gesture controls are very handy. I like that it pulls in the cover art and other details for the movies and TV episodes, and it makes downloading subtitles easy too. And it has licensed AC3 support which is essential for me. AirPlay works great. And now I can delete files I no longer need on my network share, right from the app.

Plex was not an option for me as I did not want to run a server all the time. I have a Synology NAS that is not powerful enough to transcode with Plex so Infuse is the perfect solution. Movies are stored on the NAS. Infuse and my Apple Tv4 stream and transcode the movies for playback.
