$14 well spent

Works like a charm on my first generation iPad Mini as long as the file sizes are reasonable of course. It even casts to my Chromecast on the TV, which was unexpected! My problem with VLC was it would not play mkv files with AC3 audio, but this paid app solves the problem. The free version does not play AC3, among other must-have features, so just spring for the $14 and don’t be disappointed.
